Originally built as a 1,500 sq. ft. duplex, this Chatham, NJ home featured two separate living units—each with its own kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. Before moving in, the new homeowners partnered with Manta Design-Build to completely reimagine the layout and transform the property into a cohesive, inviting single-family home.

Our design team restructured the floor plan from the ground up—removing dividing walls, combining key living areas, and optimizing flow throughout the home. By blending both halves of the house into a unified layout, we created a seamless space filled with light, function, and character.
